You do realize, don’t you, that you are arguing based on naturalistic philosophy and that there is no basis for your underlying assumptions, right?
Actually, there are arguments that can be made to support each side. At this point in human understanding, I’m not sure we are in a position to make absolute dogmatic statements about this. It’s fine to choose your side, but I would counsel it is not worth it to die on this particular hill. It is not one of the essential elements of the Christian faith.
