Freddy Davis is the founder and President of MarketFaith Ministries. His specialty relates to the topic of worldview and its practical implications. He graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Communications. Following that, he completed his MDiv and later his DMin from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Freddy has quite a varied background having served in Christian ministry as a senior pastor, interim pastor and church planter. He has also been a business owner having operated a speaker’s bureau and served as a speaker and trainer for corporations and associations. Additionally, he served as an international missionary with the Southern Baptist International Mission Board. As a missionary, he served for nearly twelve years in Japan and, following the fall of the Iron Curtain, five years in the former Soviet Republic of Latvia.
Dr. Davis is the author of numerous books and training resources including “Culture Wars” (Evergreen Press), “Praying is not for Wimps” (PageFree Publishing), “Worldview Witnessing” (PageFree Publishing) and “Pastor CEO: What They Did Not Teach You in Seminary” (RevPress). He currently lives in Tallahassee, Florida with his wife Deborah. They have one son Ken.
Tal Davis is the Executive Vice President of MarketFaith Ministries and comes to us with a specialty in interfaith witness. He has extensive knowledge of and experience in training Christians regarding cults and non-Christian religions. Tal did his undergraduate work at Florida State University, received his MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his DMin at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.
Tal has extensive ministry experience as a senior pastor, college instructor, and trainer. He most recently served for 22 years with the Southern Baptist North American Mission Board specializing in training Christians in interfaith evangelism.
Dr. Davis has been a contributing writer to several books including: “Mormonism Unmasked” by R. Phillip Roberts (Broadman & Holman Publishers), “Faith Discipleship: FAITH Reaching Out to Cults” (LifeWay Press) and “Meeting the World–Ministering Cross-Culturally” (New Hope). He is also a contributing writer to Home Life, ParentLife, Bible Express, The Deacon, and other magazines. Additionally, he has written numerous pamphlets for Apologetics Evangelism. He lives with his wife Barbara in Suwanee, GA and has two sons, Joseph and Stephen.
